Eronn A. PUTMAN

Trusted Family Law Expert

Eronn A. Putman is a Houston Texas family law attorney and Managing Attorney of The Putman Firm, PLLC, where she has exclusively practiced family law for more than a decade. Her practice is intentionally focused on complex custody litigation involving UCCJEA jurisdiction disputes, standing challenges, and multi-state family law conflicts.

Procedure & Jurisdiction

Ms. Putman regularly litigates cases involving competing state jurisdiction, home-state determinations, inconvenient forum arguments, emergency jurisdiction, and wrongful removals of children across state lines. She has handled jurisdictional  disputes involving parties and courts in states including California, Illinois, Wisconsin, Maryland, New York, Louisiana, and Tennessee.

Compassionate & Effective

She also represents clients in high-conflict divorce, custody, visitation, and child support cases. As a wife and mother, her mantra is "If this were me, I imagine myself sitting across (the lawyers desk) and how I would want to be treated."

Legal Credentials

She earned her law degree from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston. Ms. Putman is licensed in Texas state courts and admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, with experience handling matters under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. She has been recognized by Texas Super Lawyers since 2019 and has been a member of the Texas Bar College since 2017.
